QRCA Robotics Holiday Workshops at QRCA Studio Burleigh Heads
Date: Tuesday 7th July 2026
VEX Robotics Boot Camp (Grades 3–8)
Step into the world of competitive robotics. In this hands-on workshop, students will:
- Design and build their own robot using the LEGO or VEX Robotics system
- Learn coding concepts to control movement, sensors and game strategies
- Explore real-world engineering concepts such as gearing, speed, torque and stability
- Take part in mini-challenges and competitions throughout the day
This workshop is ideal for students who enjoy problem-solving, building, and want a taste of real robotics competitions.
Time: 9:00am – 3:00pm
Location: Unit 6/90 Kortum Drive Burleigh Heads

All robotics equipment and technology is provided.
About the Instructor:
Our workshops are delivered by award-winning STEM and Robotics educators with over 20 years of classroom experience, who have successfully coached multiple robotics teams to national and international competitions.
