QRCA After School Robotics Program (Fridays) at All Saints Anglican School
We’re excited to offer an additional Friday After School Robotics Program for students at All Saints Anglican School!
Start Date: FRIDAY 8th May
Duration: 6 weeks (weekly sessions)
Time: 3:15pm – 4:30pm
Location: All Saints Anglican School
Who: Prep – Grade 6
Cost: $250
Program Overview
This engaging, hands-on program is designed to introduce and extend students’ skills in robotics, coding and engineering design. Students will work in age-appropriate groups and progress through a series of structured challenges each week.
What Students Will Learn
- Fundamentals of robotics and how systems work
- Coding skills using visual and text-based programming
- Engineering design process: plan, build, test and improve
- Problem-solving, teamwork and critical thinking
- Real-world STEM applications through fun challenges
Program Pathways
- Prep – Year 2: Junior Builders & Coders
Focus on foundational skills through play-based building, simple machines and introductory coding. - Years 3 – 6: VEX Robotics
Students design, build and code robots while exploring advanced concepts such as gearing, movement, sensors and strategy.
Session Details
- Weekly sessions held after school for 6 weeks
- All equipment and technology provided
- Led by an award-winning STEM and Robotics educator with over 20 years of classroom experience and a proven track record of coaching teams to national and international success
This program is perfect for students of all experience levels, whether they are new to robotics or looking to further develop their skills.
